I created Acculturation as an ode to my younger self. As someone who has been chronically obsessed with human culture and scent since I was young, Acculturation is my perspective on the intertwining of culture and fragrance.
The exploration of cultural anthropology and symbolism is the center of Acculturation. A human-first fragrance brand that appeals to thinkers, creatives, and culture enthusiasts. Acculturation uses fragrance as a cultural artifact, not just a perfume. It's for consumers who crave meaning and cultural exploration, not just mood and aesthetic.
In its debut launch, Acculturation drops three fragrances: THIS COWBOY IN PARIS, BETWEEN THE WRAPS, and A DECORATIVE PAST. Later following with three more individual scents. Each based on the way symbols migrate, transform, and find new meaning across continents. A reminder that culture is not static, its dynamic, it adapts, it becomes.
